A pilot of the Amazon cargo plane that careened off Miami runway warned it was coming in too fast - ABC News - Breaking News, Latest News and Videos

While aviation incidents might seem completely separate from your digital life, Amazon's cargo fleet is the physical engine behind your online shopping cart. When a transport plane faces trouble on the ground, it can create localized shipping hiccups, delay warehouse transfers, and push back delivery estimates for regular customers waiting on packages.
If you are expecting an urgent delivery or live near the affected region, check your order status directly on the Amazon website or app. Look closely at the tracking history to see if an item shows an updated delivery window or is temporarily marked as delayed in transit. You do not need to troubleshoot your internet connection or reload the shopping app; instead, rely on the official tracking notes or use the customer service chat feature if your order misses its promised arrival window.
Digital shopping ultimately relies on physical transport, so real-world travel delays can occasionally impact what happens on your screen.
